Merlot, marsala, burgundy…whatever you choose to call it; it is popular. We’ve seen so many couples choosing this deep wine color for their special day this past year, and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere in 2018 either. What better place to pair a deep red wine color with for your wedding than Acquaviva Winery. It was a gorgeous day for our past couple, Alyssa and Charlie, as they exchanged vows in the winery’s outdoor vineyard. Alyssa made her entrance down a scrolling aisle of petals, and the couple exchanged vows under some simple ivory draping and floral clusters.

After the romantic vineyard ceremony; they followed it up with a cocktail and dinner reception inside the winery. Simple greenery was used on the head table, and pops of merlot made its way throughout the room in the centerpieces and adorning the naked wedding cake.
