Where did Summer go?! I feel like it was just not long ago that we were setting up floral design for Marissa and Luke’s romantic Spring outdoor ceremony and reception at Fishermen’s Inn – Elburn. Marissa looked like a bridal dream in her lace gown that paired perfectly with a simple floral crown, her garden style bouquet, and of course some glitzy Jimmy Choo shoes!
We used tons of blush tones throughout the day from the ceremony arch to the wedding cake floral, and added some elegance with gold accents. Blush floral and gold detail has been a hot wedding color palette for couples, and it never gets old. Nothing says romantic garden wedding more than pastel blooms and lots of gold compote dishes.
Not only were the bride and groom the sweetest and so easy to work with, but so were their parents. We worked closely with Marissa’s mom and dad planning little details and making sure it all came together that day. We hit it off at their first consultation and enjoyed chatting over the phone in the days leading up. We know that Marissa and Luke have a great example of what marriage is all about in their parents, and wish them all lots of happiness in the exciting new adventures to come.
Special thanks to Samantha at Alicia’s Photography for sharing some beautiful images of our work she captured throughout the day!
