Holy Guacamole! Erin + Andrew’s Bridal Shower Fiesta

I don’t think we could have had a more perfect day to celebrate Erin and Andrew’s upcoming wedding with a backyard bridal shower fiesta. Erin holds a special place in our hearts, and we knew we had to make her shower extra special for her. She loves Mexican food, so the fiesta theme idea was a definite must to celebrate this bride-to-be. We wanted to create a fiesta that spoke romance, elegance, but was also authentic on top of all that. We designed and created everything from the invites to the custom bridal piñata. Erin and Andrew’s wedding day photographer and our friend Stephanie Maurie Photography was there to capture it all.

Guests were greeted with lots of flowers, a macramé photo-op area and the sound of trickling water from the backyard pond. We made sure we utilized as many areas of the backyard as we could for the event. There were lots and lots of cacti, succulents, and pops of fuschia used in the decor.

Since this couple is all about fitness, we opted for a skinny champagne margarita as a signature drink. You can find the delicious recipe we used from With Salt & Wit here!

Guest could also enjoy authentic Jarrito Mexican soda and sangria while they munched on the salsa bar and lunch catered from La Huerta Grill + Market in St. Charles. For dessert, we served up some cake from Erin and Andrew’s wedding day bakery, The Cakery, as well as some custom cookies from Amy at The Sweet Life Cookie Company, and fresh churros from Xurro Factory – Chicago.

Of course a fiesta shower would not be complete without an authentic peacock chair and matching loveseat from Elements Preserved Vintage Rental. You can check out all her fun vintage rental finds here.

There were so many details from the day; special thanks to all the vendors that helped make this bridal shower fiesta a success!
